In the video Formenflimmern the flickering of six windows forms the compositional framework for a coincidental music. Seven videos run simultaneously: the house and the six windows.

The facade of the house was recorded from dusk until dawn and is shown as a time-lapse film. In post-production each ‚window-film‘ is constructed keyframe per keyframe into the house. Behind each window, a TV set is running, showing one film as the only source of light. Each TV set shows a video representing a different kind of TV program, such as action film or news bulletin.

The individual montage rhythm of each film is translated into sounds, whereby the volume of the sound is proportionally related to the intensity of the flickering.
