dans le miroir is a video installation based on the recording of a
performance that abstracts various influences and
events surrounding the topic of covering and unveiling, memory and loss.

The video shows my self-portrait alienated by a mask with make up. It is shown time reversed, so at the end the women loses its mask (make up) to the sound of a piano and natural /artificial sounds played and composed
by myself. What remains of the fleetingness of the performance and the atmosphere is the empty shell of the fabric I was wearing over her head with the imprint of my face on it.
