Theresa Schubert studied Media Art & Design at the Bauhaus-University Weimar and Fine Art at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
In her artistic practice she combines sound, site and sculpture to conceptual or site-specific installations and interventions. Thematically she works on the topic of order and chaos whereas the random element as a method plays an important role in the process of creation.
Her works have been exhibited in museum and galleries mainly in Australia and Germany but also on festivals throughout Europe.
Currently she lives and works as a freelance artist in Berlin (DE) and Linz (AT) and works as a researcher in the archive of the Ars Electronica.
